THE FIELD DAY

At June the 12th, 2014 at the experimental demonstration field of Mykolayiv National Agrarian University the Field Day of growing technology of cereal crops had been held.

This event became possible to be held due to close cooperation with leading breeding centers of Ukraine, namely the Institute of Breeding, Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics, Myronivskyy Institute of wheat by B. Remesla, Institute of Irrigated Agriculture, Plant Breeding and Research Association "Bor" and many others.

The head of Mykolaiv Regional  State Administration, Nikolay Pavlovich Romanchuk, thanked the staff of the University for the efficient work.

The University is grateful to its traditional partners: PJSC "Tekhnotorg Don", LLC "Golden Ear", LLC "C-Rostock", LLC "Harvest Field", MPC "Alpha-Mykolaiv", LLC "BTU Center" and many others.

We would like to thank Odessa Institute of Breeding and Centre of seed cultivation which is  headed by well-known agrarian breeder, Sokolov Vyacheslav Mikhailovich, Anatoly  Adamovich Lynchevskyy, famous Academician and breeder, and Litvinenko Mykola Antonovich for the opportunity to see the latest selection achievements.

After inspecting the demonstration field, the participants of the event took part in the "round-table discussion" about "Current status and prospects of grain production in the South of Ukraine", during which the Field Day organization was praized, the need to further improvement and continuation of the further cooperation between breeding centers and partner companies with Mykolayiv National Agrarian University had been noted.

The research fields of Mykolayiv National Agrarian University give the unique opportunity for the scientists and graduate students to conduct researches with modern varieties, make breeding experiments, testing and applying the differentiated power systems and plant protection. For manufacturers, who are now massively represented in the South of Ukraine, it is an opportunity to see the benefits of one species over another.
