PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE CONGRATULATED THE TEAM OF MYKOLAYIV STATE AGRARIAN UNIVERSITY WITH BECOMING THE "NATIONAL"

September 21, 2012 marks a date in the history of Mykolayiv State Agrarian University. President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych within the visit to Mykolayiv region came to the university to announce the long-awaited news.

"Considering the national and international recognition of the Mykolayiv State Agrarian University in training and its contribution to the development of agroindustrial complex, I decree:

Provide Mykolayiv State Agrarian University national status and call it henceforth - Mykolayiv National Agrarian University.

In his opening remarks, President of Ukraine noted that all university’s innovative programs have a beneficial effect on the development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.

"We need to maintain the connection between education, science and industry, provide quality farmer’s training. And you make significant contribution in this direction. Your University - one of the leaders in innovative development, known for successful combination of education, science and industry” - said the President of Ukraine.

Also Viktor Yanukovych visited the Museum “Becoming of the Agricultural Education in Mykolayiv Region”. Afterwards Rector Vyacheslav Shebanin presented university’s innovations and achievements.
