Informational Day of Erasmus+

10.23.2014, the representative of the Research Center for International Cooperation and Legal Support Vitaly Karbashevsky had attended the information day of Erasmus +, which took place on the basis of the Krivoy Rog National University (KNU), Krivoy Rog city. The event had been organized by the National Office of Erasmus + in Ukraine in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the EU Executive Agency of Education, Audiovisual  Technologies and Culture.

The information day's programe was quite eventful. The organizers of the overall structure had presented Erasmus + in higher education and the right of participation of Ukrainian universities in competition program in such directions as mobility training, capacity development of higher education (former Tempus), the program of Jean Monnet, the deadlines and requirements for registration of applications.

Among the main innovations there are the changes in the geography of potential partners (the Middle East and Latin America were added,  Russia was excluded); reducing the maximum possible amount of the grant; the opportunity to participate in projects of public institutions (chambers of commerce, sanitary station, etc.). In the afternoon, a presentation of possibilities for individual mobility of students and teachers as part of the Erasmus program. + had been held.

The event was attended by representatives of universities from all over Ukraine (Heads and Vice Rectors) as well as foreign guests of KNU: the partner University in the current project of the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.

Participation in such events is an important indicator of the development of the University. Mykolayiv National Agrarian University is involved in the European integration processes in Ukraine in order to grow and to cooperate with their European counterparts as equal partners.

EU project "NEO - National Erasmus + office in Ukraine" 

General activity: 
The project "National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine" (NEO) in close cooperation with the EU Delegation in Ukraine provides assistance and support to the Executive Agencyof Education, Audiovisual Technologies and Culture (EASEA). NEO explores the development of higher education in Ukraine and other areas of education, if necessary. 
In cooperation with the EU Delegation in Ukraine, NSW is the contact point for all interested potential participants, beneficiaries and stakeholders of EASEA and the European Commission in the field of (higher) education.
