In Mykolayiv State Agrarian University were organised an intensive French language courses. Сourses were conducted by teacher with great teaching experience Jean Sikora, with using of progressive method of teaching of French as a foreign language "Festival". Lessons were held every day during March - April 2012. The main purpose was improving knowledge of candidates to participate in internship programs of the Federation of Exchanges France-Ukraine, but despite this, Mr. Sikora accepted everyone to the group.

April 11, 2012 was the final meeting and awarding of graduates. The French teacher was very pleased with the level of students' knowledge. By agreement with the Federation similar courses will be organised in the future.

From early childhood I had a dream – to go to another country, learn its customs and traditions, life style, learn from foreign experience in dealing with diverse issues.

And this summer my dreams came true. I had the opportunity to visit France through a French-Ukrainian Federation of Exchanges. I stayed two months with the family, engaged in seed production and breeding of goats. Frankly speaking – it was a bit difficult. But despite this, I got a lot of fun, learned a lot of useful and new things. And most importantly, I learned to be more independent, to find solutions to various issues, became anxious and more concentrated.

I lived with a family of farmers who were breeding goats and making cheese. I was received cordially and hospitably, and within two months family helped me to adapt because I was the first time thousands of miles away from my own family. For me it was very interesting to learn about their lifestyle, way of rest and work, their traditions and customs.

I want to thank the rector of the Mykolayiv State Agrarian University and foreign language lecturer Zrobok Natalya for the support and assistance.

This trip will remain in my memory forever.

My internship lasted from 07.05.10 to 08.31.10 in the region of Auvergne. This was my second internship through a French-Ukrainian Federation of Exchanges. I refined the language and nuances of French cooking at the restaurant La Ferme de l´Ange. Region Auvergne extremely beautiful and attractive for tourists, people are very hospitable and friendly. Impressions of training – only positive!

On the November 15th, 2010 the University was visited by official representative of the LOGO program. Mr. Joseph Kiefer personally examined candidates for an internship, and was satisfied with the high level of student´s knowledge.

This event was held in cooperation with LOGO Union and center of international mediation of the German Ministry of Labor and Employment (ZAV).

November 27, 2009. Mykolayiv State Agrarian University was attended by Lyubov Slatyuk, the representative of LOGOeV internship program (German Society for Promotion of sustainable agriculture and education of young farmers from Eastern Europe and Central Asia). Besides the official part of the appointment, also there was presentation of the program, interview and selection for those who have expressed a desire to participate.

Without doubt, training abroad is not only an indispensable part of their professional education, but also a tool of personality enrichment and contributes to the integration processes in general.
